Brown Bag Lunch

The Graduate School (GS) held the fourth Brown Bag Lunch of the 2025/26 academic year on 25 March 2026.

The session was co-hosted by Dr Lucas Kohnke, Acting RPg Programme Leader, and Ms Melanie Tang, Counsellor of the Graduate School. In a relaxed and informal atmosphere, nine first-year doctoral students from various departments gathered to share their experiences at EdUHK.

Through casual yet insightful conversations, the students discussed a wide range of topics, including course selection, participation in workshops and conferences, and stress management strategies. Some students also shared their experiences about working with their supervisors, noting that they appreciated the support and guidance they received.

With Ms Tang in attendance, the discussion also touched on students’ stress levels, coping strategies, and other psychological challenges commonly faced by new doctoral students.
