Invited by Department of English Language Education, Professor Hayo Reinders will visit our University from 16 to 27 October 2023. During his visit, Professor Reinders will give a workshop, two lectures (Digital Wellbeing and Research Methodology), and one-on-one consultations to colleagues and students. You are cordially invited to attend this event organized by the Department of English Language Education and the Graduate School. AbstractIn this practical talk, Professor Hayo will share some of the insights and offer practical suggestions for how teachers can integrate notions of wellbeing into their own and their communities’ digital lives. More details of the event are on the poster.Professor Hayo will introduce the topics of educational data mining and learning analytics and explore how they may be relevant to improving learning and teaching, as well as enabling new types of research. Hayo Reinders is currently TESOL Professor and Director of the Doctoral Programme at Anaheim University in the United States of America. He is also founder and Editor-in-Chief of Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching Journal, Q1 and SSCI-indexed journal. He is a speaker for the Royal Society of New Zealand (where he resides).  He has made a substantial contribution to these areas. He has an h-index of 44, over 8,000 citations, is listed in the top 1% of researchers worldwide and has published 26 books and over 150 peer-reviewed articles in the aforementioned areas. In addition, his work reaches any practitioners worldwide. He has given over 100 keynote presentations and his recent podcast series developed for Cambridge University Press (called ‘Teachers Talk Tech’) has had 170,000+ downloads and streams.
