Embarking on a New Chapter of Excellence! EdD Orientation 2026

In late August, the Graduate School (GS) welcomed new Doctor of Education (EdD) students through two separate orientation sessions for the English and Chinese cohorts. ✨

Professor Wai-Kai Hou, EdD Programme Director, welcomed students with an introduction to the EdD programme and the academic journey ahead. Students also received guidance on course registration and self-paced learning resources, while GS Academic Tutor Dr John Patkin shared practical tips on thesis writing and academic planning.🌱

From programme roadmaps to teaching and research support, the orientation sessions provided students with practical guidance for their doctoral studies. The Graduate School wishes all EdD students a rewarding and successful journey ahead. 📚
