Master of Education

Applicants from different backgrounds are required to upload different supporting documents :

EdUHK / HKIEd Graduates:

• Document(s)do not need to submit any copies of academic transcript(s) and certificate(s) issued by EdUHK /HKIEd.
• For qualifications obtained in other universities or institutions, submission of transcript(s) and certificate(s) is still required.

Graduates from Other Institutions:

• A scanned copy of graduation certificate and final transcript showing your completion of the qualification(s).

Final- year Students:

• A scanned copy of the latest transcipt/ testimonial certifying your current student status. You will be required to provide an official final transcript/ testimonial certifying your current student status. You will be required to provide an official final transcript certifying your successful completion of a bachelor’s /master’s degree in July / August.

Graduates from Mainland Universities:

• A scanned copy of :
  1. Degree Certificate (學位證書 – 中文原件掃瞄);
  2. Graduation Certificate (畢業證書 – 中文原件掃瞄);
  3. Final Transcript (最終成績單 – 中文原件掃瞄); and
  4. Online Verification Report of Higher Education Qualification Certificate (教育部學歷證書電子註冊備案表) issued by the CHSI (學信網) with a validity period of six months (有效期為六個月).
  5. Final year students should upload a certifying letter (在讀證明) during the application stage; and items
• 1 – 4  once they are available in July.

The programme may require you to provide other supporting documents including: 

1. Public Examination Results / Transcript & Proof; and / or;
2. Study Statement / Referee’s Report.

To consider your eligibility, the University may require you to provide assessment reposts such as: 

1. Report for Qualifications Assessment issued by HKCAAVQ; and/or
2. Credential Report (認證報告) issued by CDGDC (中國學位與研究生教育資訊網(學位網)).

Applicants whose entrance qualification is obtained from an institution in a non-English speaking system:

• A scanned copy of an English language test report:
  • IELTS (academic version); or
  • TOEFL (internet-based); or
  • CET6* (with validity within two years); or
  • Other equivalent qualifications.

* Students who solely hold result of CET6 in order to meet the English language admission requirement should provide verification certificate (成績證明) issued by the National Education Examinations Authority (中國教育考試網).
