The Magic of Well-being
Renowned entertainer and educator Mr Harry Gor Gor Wong returned to the Graduate School for another fun-packed edutainment seminar.
Starting with illusions involving the sleight of hand, Harry captivated around 30 postgraduates in a two-hour event on November 24. The Magic and Well-being for Education seminar demonstrated how a few simple tricks can elevate a teacher’s connection with a class.
After pulling a monkey out of a hat, a dazzling array of card tricks, and turning chewing gum into a lollipop, Harry then revealed some magic techniques. Participants were shown how simple household items such as food storage bags and cotton buds can be utilised for magic.
Harry concluded his second seminar at the University by reminding students that a little bit of magic can make people smile and improve their overall well-being.
