EdUHK-IOE Summer Conference on Leadership in Language and Culture

EdUHK-IOE Summer Conference on Leadership in Language and Culture”:, co-hosted by EdUHK’s Graduate School (GS) and the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI), in collaboration with the Centre for Intercultural Studies at the UCL Institute of Education (UCL-IOE), concluded on July 8, 2025. 180+ scholars, educators, policymakers, and students from the UK, US, and Hong Kong gathered at the EdUHK Tai Po Campus to explore the synergy of language, culture and leadership in education.

The conference featured keynote addresses from six world-leading scholars, including: Professor Li Wei, Professor Zhu Hua & Professor John O’Regan from UCL-IOE; Professor Agnes He from Stony Brook University; EdUHK President Professor John Lee and Dean of GS Professor Michelle Gu. Topics ranged from AI, intercultural communication, language education to digital practices.

This event marks another milestone in the ongoing collaboration between EdUHK and IOE-UCL, contributing to advancing education worldwide.
