Coaches from the Hong Kong Pickleball Association delivered a workshop on the sport for postgraduate students on November 25, 2025. The event helped participants relax and unwind amidst the stress of end-of-term coursework.

After explaining the rules and demonstrating basic ball control skills, students were divided into groups to practice hitting the ball with forehand and backhand shots. Under the patient guidance of the coaches, students quickly progressed from “zero” to impressive rallies while maintaining a lively and cheerful atmosphere.

After “modelling” the correct practice, students were put to the test in a mini competition. Initially, some students focused on scoring points, but as the rallies continued, most realised it was more enjoyable to keep the rally going and experience the fun of the game, rather than playing for a win. Many participants appreciated the importance of teamwork and cooperation while relieving their academic stress.
