No paper applications will be accepted. Alternatively, applicants may choose to pay the fee by other payment methods as indicated on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eduhk.hk\/acadprog\/downloads\/Other%20payment%20methods(EdUHK).pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Payment page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For applicants who are not able to pay online, please be remembered to input a Payment Reference and upload the copy of the payment proof (e.g. ATM Advice, Bank-in Slip, Telegraphic Transfer) onto the EdUHK Online Application Systems at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eduhk.hk\/acadprog\/online\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.eduhk.hk\/acadprog\/online\/<\/a>&nbsp;or send it to the Graduate School via email, fax or by post. Applicant may indicate the&nbsp;potential supervisor(s) who has&nbsp;\/&nbsp;have relevant&nbsp;expertise \/ knowledge in the field of study&nbsp;of the applicant.&nbsp;Please note that&nbsp;the proposed supervisor(s) is&nbsp;\/&nbsp;are&nbsp;only a preliminary nomination. The&nbsp;supervisory arrangement would&nbsp;be further discussed with the Area Coordinator and the department; and confirmed by the EdD Programme Committee after admission to the programme.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>m) Can I apply for the Doctor of Education (Chinese Class) programme and another programme at the same time?<\/summary>\n<p>Applicants may submit applications&nbsp;for more than one programme&nbsp;according to their own&nbsp;interests and needs.&nbsp;Should you decided to apply for more than one programme, separate applications should be launched for each programme.&nbsp;There may be differences between&nbsp;programmes regarding the minimum entrance requirement, normative study period and application period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that students enrolled in any full-time award bearing programmes (lasting for&nbsp;one year or longer) of the&nbsp;University&nbsp;should not simultaneously register for study for another qualification at this&nbsp;University&nbsp;or for a post-secondary qualification at another&nbsp;University&nbsp;without&nbsp;prior approval of the&nbsp;University.&nbsp;Students in breach of this&nbsp;regulation&nbsp;may be subject to discontinuation&nbsp;of studies at this&nbsp;University.&nbsp;In case of doubt, please&nbsp;seek advice from the&nbsp;Graduate School&nbsp;at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:eddchi@eduhk.hk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eddchi@eduhk.hk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>n) What should I do if I wish to update my application information after an application is submitted online?<\/summary>\n<p>Applicants have the right of access to and correction of the information contained in their application. It contains the application number, choice of programme and a payment reference number. wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>c) How long will the application for a student visa normally take?<\/summary>\n<p>Once your application for a student visa is received, all documents will be Class) programme?<\/summary>\n<p>The&nbsp;main differences are the study period and the required study load&nbsp;per semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Study Period:&nbsp;The normal study period is 3 years for full-time EdD (Chinese Class) programme&nbsp;and 4 years for part-time EdD (Chinese Class) programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Study Load: Full-time EdD (Chinese Class) students are required to take at least 6 credit points of taught courses per semester unless with prior approval, while for part-time EdD (Chinese Class) students there is no minimum credit load required. However, with reference to the University\u2019s regulation, it is important to note that part-time students who have not registered for any course in two consecutive semesters will be considered to have withdrawn from the programme.
