The two sessions followed a similar structure, aiming to help participants discover the joy and creativity of drawing. The workshops were facilitated by Ms Passy Deng Yang, a lecturer in the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshops opened with a self-introduction activity where facilitator, Dr Deng Passy, posed four questions: name\/meaning, hobbies, major, and views on art. Participants visually answered these through drawings in 6-8 minutes, then used their artwork to introduce themselves to unfamiliar classmates. Ms Deng then facilitated reflection on participants&#8217; creative thought processes and experiences during the exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passy then taught fundamental art elements \u2013 point, line and shape \u2013 while introducing special materials for creative exercise. After creating works, participants displayed them for group discussion and instructor feedback. The highlight came when participants created blind drawings while listening to music, later sharing the meanings behind their intuitive creations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, Ms Deng\u2019s workshop creatively combined self-expression and collaborative learning. Through drawing activities and blind art exercises, participants explored new artistic perspectives while making new friends.
