I obtained this position six years ago through a recommendation from an EdUHK alumnus. My responsibilities include teaching, conducting research, and supervising dissertations. My area of expertise is early childhood education, and I genuinely enjoy my work. It provides me with continuous opportunities for learning and professional development. EdUHK facilitated my growth as an academic professional. I remember feeling nervous about using English when I first introduced myself during the early stages of my doctoral journey in 2012. However, after five years of postgraduate studies, I gained the confidence to secure a position at a university where English is the medium of instruction. Additionally, the multicultural environment at EdUHK helped me maintain an international perspective, which is very important in today’s world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
