To proceed with the application for the Scheme, applicants are invited to provide the following documents by email to <a href=\"mailto:rpg@eduhk.hk\">rpg@eduhk.hk<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Required Application Documents<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A completed visiting student application form <strong><em>(click here to download)<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academic certificate(s) and transcript(s);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overseas Credentials Evaluation Report (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eduhk.hk\/acadprog\/downloads\/CSCSE_Sample.pdf\">\u570b<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eduhk.hk\/acadprog\/downloads\/CSCSE_Sample.pdf\">(<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eduhk.hk\/acadprog\/downloads\/CSCSE_Sample.pdf\">\u5883<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eduhk.hk\/acadprog\/downloads\/CSCSE_Sample.pdf\">)<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eduhk.hk\/acadprog\/downloads\/CSCSE_Sample.pdf\">\u5916\u5b78\u6b77\u5b78\u4f4d\u8a8d\u8b49\u66f8<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eduhk.hk\/acadprog\/downloads\/CSCSE_Sample.pdf\">)<\/a>\u00a0or Online Verification Report(s) issued by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chsi.com.cn\/xlcx\/bgcx.jsp\">CHSI (<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chsi.com.cn\/xlcx\/bgcx.jsp\">\u5b78\u4fe1\u7db2<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chsi.com.cn\/xlcx\/bgcx.jsp\">)<\/a>\u00a0of degree(s) (if applicable);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Testimonial and supporting letter of the current programme of study issued by the home university;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An updated CV;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A research proposal;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A copy of passport\/Mainland ID; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consent from the proposed host supervisor at EdUHK\u00a0(e.g. email conversation) regarding the application for the Visiting RPg Student Programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Application Deadlines<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are accepted throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Important Notes<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee, a student visa fee, and caution money.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To ensure a smooth application process, we kindly recommend that the completed application form, along with the abovementioned documents, reach our office 4 months before the proposed start date at EdUHK. The proposed start date should avoid school or public holidays. Adhering to the suggested timeline helps avoid potential delays in the overall process, including the intended start date of the visiting period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A visiting period may range from a minimum of one month to a maximum of 180 days within any 12-month period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The application fee can be settled by using one of the payment methods and kindly attach a copy of the payment proof to the application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accommodation and Insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Kindly note that on-campus accommodation is not applicable to visiting students. Before arrival, students are reminded to make their own arrangements for off-campus accommodation and personal accident, travel and health insurance covering the entire study period in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Financial Assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Visiting RPg students are not eligible for any scholarships or financial assistance in their capacity as visiting students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rules and Regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Visiting RPg students are required to follow strictly the rules and regulations of the Immigration Department, The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
