EdUHK-IOE Summer Conference on Leadership in Language and Culture\u201d:, <\/a>co-hosted by EdUHK\u2019s Graduate School (GS) and the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI), in collaboration with the Centre for Intercultural Studies at the UCL Institute of Education (UCL-IOE), concluded on July 8, 2025. 180+ scholars, educators, policymakers, and students from the UK, US, and Hong Kong gathered at the EdUHK Tai Po Campus to explore the synergy of language, culture and leadership in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference featured keynote addresses from six world-leading scholars, including: Professor Li Wei, Professor Zhu Hua & Professor John O\u2019Regan from UCL-IOE; Professor Agnes He from Stony Brook University; EdUHK President Professor John Lee and Dean of GS Professor Michelle Gu. Topics ranged from AI, intercultural communication, language education to digital practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event marks another milestone in the ongoing collaboration between EdUHK and IOE-UCL, contributing to advancing education worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
