Participants built their own Christmas decorations while enjoying seasonal snacks and casual conversation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students used their best research skills to follow instructions and build one of three festive decorations: a wreath, a photo frame (with a Christmas tree inside), or a crystal ball. While the processes for crafting the wreath and frame were similar, the more challenging crystal ball was the most popular. Besides being decorated with seasonally-themed items such as snowmen and Christmas trees, the clear crystal ball can be illuminated with small lights. Some participants said it reminded them of a scene from a fairy tale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students welcomed the handicraft workshop. The activity allowed them to reflect on the first semester in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
