Around a dozen doctoral students gathered on December 15th for the Graduate School’s (GS) second ‘Brown Bag Lunch’ of the 2025/26 academic year. The session was hosted by Dr Jennie Li, the Programme Leader, and Dr Ripple Lian, the Programme Coordinator for the Research Postgraduate (RPg) Programmes.

In addition to sharing insights from their PhD journeys, participants also discussed topics such as effective publication strategies, ethical review, and future career plans. Dr Lian took the opportunity to highlight some of the excellent opportunities and support provided by the GS and the University.

Participants exchanged valuable tips to enrich their learning experience in Hong Kong. Suggestions for maintaining well-being, such as engaging in outdoor activities and hiking in Hong Kong, were recommended as effective ways to relieve stress during studies.

Doctoral students wishing to participate in future RPg Brown Bag Lunches can register their interest by emailing the Graduate School at rpg@eduhk.hk.
